Calm Day privacy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
What Calm Day keeps
Your first name, and the first names or nicknames of your children. Nothing else about a child: no birth dates, surnames, schools or photos. Your tasks (titles, days, times and which child they are for). If you invite a partner, their first name and that they are in your household. Your Sign in with Apple identifier, so your family is there when you come back.
Where it is stored
Your family's data is stored with Supabase in Sydney, Australia. Each household can only read its own data.
What happens to the words you speak
Speech is turned into text on your iPhone where Apple supports that, otherwise by Apple's speech service under Apple's privacy policy. That text, and your children's first names so tasks can be matched to the right child, is then sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to be sorted into tasks. Darcy Ave Studio does not keep the recording and does not log what you said or your children's names.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are bought through Apple. Calm Day uses RevenueCat to check whether your household has a subscription. RevenueCat receives a random household identifier and purchase details, not your name or tasks.
Ads and tracking
None. Calm Day has no advertising and no analytics that identify you, and your data is never sold.
Reminders
Reminders and the Sunday summary are created on your phone. They are not sent through our servers.
Your choices
In the app, Settings then Delete all my data removes your household, children and tasks from our servers. You can also email us and we will delete it for you.
Children
Calm Day is for parents and carers. It is not for children to use, and it stores only the first name or nickname a parent chooses to enter.
